Living Hope Newsletter – January 2018

Living Hope Ranch is a 12 month, Christian based on-site program for female teens, 13-17, who are struggling with life-controlling issues. It offers a structured environment that fosters growth mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually; thus enabling them to confront life’s challenges with confidence.

THANK YOU

We would like to say a big thank you to the DEPLAEDT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION in Saskatoon, SK, for their incredible and generous financial contribution.  This has opened up new opportunities for LHR in our mission to assist at-risk teenage girls.

As we reflect on 2017 we would like to express a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our first-time donors, monthly donors, and consecutive-year donors; your ongoing generosity is what makes it possible for our organization to exist as we strive toward our long anticipated reopening.

We also want to say a THANK YOU to Diamond Willow Retreat for their ongoing partnership in providing a home for LHR.  We are blessed beyond measure and thank you for your patience and faithful commitment to the future of Living Hope Ranch.

Communications Update

This last year has in many ways, flown by.  It hasn’t looked at all as we had anticipated for our ministry but we remain hopeful and expectant.

A paved path is never the case in pioneering.  However, we forge ahead, undaunted and always trusting.

We walk the constant rocky and delicate balance between urgency and necessity as we hold fast to the dream of helping teenage girls and promise of our Lord.  While things can often look confusing, and at this moment, stalled, I rest assured in the clarifying calm that resonates within my heart. The plans of the Lord will not be thwarted.  His heart beats for the lost and vulnerable and thus we continue, into the arenas he has brought before us, waiting, seeking and hoping. Knowing the day is soon coming when Living Hope Ranch will again reopen its doors and there will be a safe place for girls who are lost, alone and hurting.
